If you’re afflicted with acne, it can be a demoralizing experience, especially if you have a presentation or god forbid a date in the near future.  You can find a lot of information on how to cure acne fast all over the internet.  With the help of this and a daily routine you can get rid of random breakout and consistent cases of acne once and for all and have the confidence that comes from clear and clean skin.

There are several different causes of acne.  Usually, acne is caused by several of the following factors:

  • Stress
  • Hormones
  • Oily Skin
  • Bacteria
  • Medications

Once you figure out what is causing your acne you can find out how to cure it once and for all.

Daily Tips to Cure Acne

To cure your acne there are several different activities you can do on a daily basis to achieve clearer skin. First, make sure you drink at least eight to ten glasses of water a day. Water improves you complexion by flushing out many of the toxins in your body and gives your cells the water they need to function at an optimal level. Drinking water is not only healthy, but gives you a glowing complexion as well.

Two other acne tips you should be following daily are to wash your face and hair daily with a soap for acne. If you have oily hair, many times it falls in or around your face and the oil from your hair is deposited on your face. If you have problems with acne on your forehead this may be one of the main reasons you have problems. Also make sure to wash your face with acne removal products at least twice a day, more if you work out or do other strenuous activities that cause you to sweat. This will remove the excess oil from your skin that the bacteria on your face feed on and causes pimples. If you can’t wash your face this many times as day, make sure you at least wipe it off with a clean towel or tissue.

Finally, make sure you get at least eight hours of sleep every night. You skin, and your whole body for that matter, repairs itself while you are sleeping. A good night’s sleep is not only healthy, but it will do wonders for your complexion.

How to Cure Acne Scars

Even if you no longer have acne, you may still be left with the memories of it because of lingering acne scars on your face. To prevent deep acne scarring, make sure to take steps immediately once you suspect a scar may be developing. There are several over the counter products, such as tea tree oil, that you can rub on new scars that will help them fade or disappear completely. There are also some home remedies you can use, including rubbing olive oil, Vitamin E, or lemon juice on the scar to reduce its appearance.

If you have deep acne scars it may be necessary to have surgical procedures done to have the scars fully disappear. Many different options are available today for the removal of acne scars. These include laser resurfacing, chemical masks, and skin grafts. These will usually remove the scar completely but they carry a hefty price tag. Make sure you consult with your dermatologist to see which procedures you will benefit the most from.

How to Cure Acne Naturally

One of the easiest, and cheapest, ways to cure acne naturally is to remove the stress from your life.  Either remove stressful situations or learn to deal with stress in a way that your body doesn’t react as harshly to it.  Stress can cause acne breakouts even in adults who otherwise have no problems with acne.

Some other natural remedies for acne exist however.  One of these is to grind an orange peel up and mix it with water to form a paste.  Apply the paste to your face and let it sit for a few minutes.  The orange peel will act as a mild exfoliant and clean and scrub your skin.  If you already have zits, garlic and toothpaste can be a great natural remedy for limiting your breakout.  If you have fresh garlic, peel a clove and rub it on the affected area.  The antibiotics and vitamins and minerals in the garlic will help reduce the swelling and redness from the pimples.  If its bedtime, try putting toothpaste directly on your breakout.  The toothpaste will help dry out the area and also will reduce the swelling and redness.

There is no one way to cure acne.  Every person’s skin is different and so are the root causes of their acne.  Do research, visit your doctor, and use trial and error to figure out what method work best for you to fight your acne.
